Teknic manufactures products using a proprietary “platform design” methodology. Thousands of unique part numbers are built from a relatively small number of hardware platforms. This design strategy provides a number of benefits:

  • Reduced cost and complexity because a platform of similar products can be certified for compliance together

To find the compliance information for a particular Teknic part number, look in the relevant document for the platform number that pertains to your part number. For example, if you buy part number “CPM-SDHP-2336P-ELN”, your RoHS platform number is: CPx-xxxx-23xxy-xxx. (Each platform number covers multiple part numbers.)
